We stock a deliberately short list. These are the sizes and power ratings that suit UK cars, that we can get parts for quickly, and that we are happy to put a two-year fitting warranty against. Every price below is fitted in our bay and includes VAT and vehicle-specific parts.

Car speakers

The front pair does most of the work in any car. Get those right and the rest of the system has something to build on.

Coaxial

165 mm two-way coaxial set

Tweeter mounted on the same frame as the mid-bass cone, so it drops into the factory location with an adaptor ring. The straightforward upgrade for a car running its original head unit, and the one we fit most often.

Component

165 mm component set

Separate tweeters and an external crossover. Because the tweeter can be angled towards the listener from the A-pillar or sail panel, the stereo image lifts off the floor and sits on the dashboard where it belongs.

Not sure which size your car takes?

Most European hatchbacks and estates use 165 mm front doors. A lot of Japanese and Korean cars use 160 mm or a 6 × 9-inch shelf speaker at the rear. Tell us the registration when you enquire and we will confirm the size, depth and adaptor before you book. Low end

Subwoofers and bass enclosures

A subwoofer is the only practical way to get real low bass in a car, because a door simply cannot move enough air below about 60 Hz. The enclosure matters as much as the driver.

Our default recommendation. Tight, even bass that follows the music rather than booming on one note, and shallow enough to live in a spare wheel well on most estates.

Ported

12-inch subwoofer, ported enclosure

For drivers who want genuinely big bass and can spare the boot. Tuned to 34 Hz, which gives a noticeable lift through the bottom two octaves at the cost of some control above the tuning point.

Small enough to go under a seat, efficient enough not to need a fan. Four channels lets us run a front component set actively or drive front and rear pairs from one chassis.

Damping

Two-door damping kit

Constrained layer damping tiles on the outer skin, closed-cell foam behind the speaker and a sealed inner skin. The cheapest real improvement in car audio, and the one most often skipped.

Prices are current for the 2026–27 season and hold for 30 days from a written quote. Vehicles needing a DSP to work around factory sound processing are quoted separately, typically £340–£520 on top.
